Hello everyone! Wow, what a response I got from you with regards to our February Birthday Bash. The membership drive was very successful. We are starting to tally the results. We should have an answer to who are the winners by March 17, 2008 which also happens to be St. Patrick’s Day.
Who out there has a St. Pat’s Birthday? Let me know what are some of the fun things you will be doing and have done and I’ll share it with our members.
Last month I was privileged to attend the International Toy Fair ’08 at the Jacob Javitiz Convention Center in NYC. I was amazed at the amount of booths, must have been close to 3000 companies present maybe more. All I know I was overwhelmed. What a nice bunch of people at the show. I got to see what will be some of the hottest holiday presents next December 2008. The genius and imagination of the participants was really fabulous. I will highlight some of them here and in an email to everyone later this March.
Let me tell you a little of how I actually got there…
I received an email from a very successful CEO who runs a company by the name of “justMeMusic!” . We kept missing each other by email and telephone and finally caught up the day before he left for the NY opening of The International Toy Fair ’08 at the Jacob Javitiz Convention Center. He asked me if I would be attending the show? I asked what show? And, he explained it to me. I took a chance and with faith that I would be able to get in and attend went for it…. As they say the rest is history. www.freebrithdaystuff.com is now in the throws of becoming bigger and better than ever. I met with the heads of JustMeMusic, Veggie Tales – Big Idea, Ganz – Webkinz and as I showcase later this month new companies willing to give you a % off, or free shipping & handling, or buy 1 get 1 free …. Well the list goes on and on. I have the most unusual and fun stuff and things that are not even on the shelves of stores yet at your disposal. I just need to sort through everything and put it out in dedicated emails and here at Members News. So, give me a week or so and I will have the best of everything for you.
